In today’s world where shopping is mainly online, car showrooms still play a central role sin the buying experience and it is crucial for the buyers and the sellers. They must exude this aura of exclusivity and identity they are portraying. The showroom was design to create a powerful impression on the customer and ultimately drive sales numbers for the owners. This showroom was the fruit of labour of brand representatives, architects, and interior designers. This auto-theme space was created by applying design guidelines form the Korean HQ of Hyundai. Ensuring practicality of the design was just as important as the looks of the showroom. Major points to consider were number of cars on display, observation areas, customer lounges, staff facility, reception area and size and location of service areas. Being that the car’s on exhibition are the highlight, the way they are displayed is governed by the lighting of the space. It was also vital to ensure that all the features in the showroom were on brand with the design guidelines as they had to adhere to the company standards. Aside from the current needs of the showroom we also had to ensure it was future proof in terms of its adaptability in design.
